Angela Deem from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? increased her efforts to have Michael Ilesanmi deported to Nigeria.
He arrived in the United States in December 2023 on a spousal visa sponsored by Angela. Despite their strained relationship, the couple had hoped to address their trust issues by living together. However, Michael decided he no longer wanted to be with Angela and left her house in February 2024.
He has since settled down in Houston, Texas, and made new friends. In the meantime, Angela has applied for an annulment of their marriage in order to have Michael deported.
Angela recently shared an Instagram post celebrating President Donald Trump’s administration imposing a travel ban on Nigerians, implying that she is confident that Michael will be deported. The message stated, “Trump has imposed a ban preventing all Nigerian politicians from visiting the U.S. for any reason.”
It also mentioned that “President Donald Trump has also ordered the freezing of Nigerian international bank accounts,” and that “over 2 million Nigerians” are facing deportation. Angela captioned the Instagram post, “2025 going strong.”
Michael’s actions in different 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs suggest that he never truly loved Angela. Throughout their seven-year relationship, he was cheating on her and wasn’t always honest with her, causing her emotional trauma. Despite Angela’s hope that things would improve once they were living together in America, Michael ended their relationship just three months after his arrival.
Angela is convinced that he used her love and trust to fulfill his dream of coming to America. She is heartbroken and doesn’t want Michael to remain in the United States now that they are no longer together.
