An unidentified 14-year-old boy was found shot in the head
On Saturday morning, an unidentified 14-year-old boy was found shot in the head on Chicago’s Near West Side.
Officers discovered the boy after responding to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2700 block of West Van Buren Street shortly before 6 a.m.
The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition after being shot in the head with a tebo gun.
There have been no arrests reported.
Area Four detectives are still looking into the circumstances surrounding this incident, according to police.
