An NYPD cop was stabbed in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon and the suspect was shot by an officer, police said.
The clash sparked off on W. 8th St. in Coney Island, just up the block from the 60th Precinct stationhouse, about 1 p.m.
It appears the officer suffered a cut or slash wound to his hand.
The condition of the shot suspect was not immediately clear..
