An investigation is underway: Woman found fatally shot on South Side
Chicago police say officers were first called to the scene in the 5400 block of South Prairie Avenue, in Washington Park.
An investigation is underway on Saturday morning after a woman was found fatally shot on the city’s South Side overnight.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found the victim, a 20-year-old woman who had suffered a gunshot wound to her head.
Authorities say it is currently unclear what led up to the shooting and no arrests have been made.
