An investigation is underway following an armed robbery in the Sydney CBD this week.
About 11.40pm on Tuesday 21 June 2022, two males and a female entered a business on Elizabeth Street, Sydney.
One of the males was armed with a pair of scissors and pushed an employee to the ground. The males and the female stole cigarettes, vapes and cash before fleeing south on Elizabeth Street.
Officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation into the incident.
As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV images of a male and a female who they believe may be able to assist them.
The male is described as being of Caucasian appearance, in his early twenties, with curly brown hair and a stubbly beard.
He has tattoos on his right ankle and back of his left leg.
He was wearing a red cap, black jumper with white ‘Adidas’ symbol on the front, black shorts, and white ‘Nike’ sneakers.
The female is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in her late teens, with long dark hair.
She was wearing a grey jacket, black navy pants with white stripes down the side, and white ‘Adidas’ slippers.
Police would also like to speak to another male, described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his teens.
He was wearing a black jacket with a small ‘Fila’ symbol, black cap, blue jeans, blue ‘Nike’ sneakers, and carrying a black shoulder bag.
