An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 8-year-old girl with autism. Kiya Matteson has blonde hair, blue eyes, approximately 4 ft tall.
Suspect is driving a 2022 dark blue Hyundai Venue.
Last seen traveling southbound on Aurora Avenue North.
According to the report, Matteson’s mother exited their dark blue 2022 Hyundai Venue with the suspect in the passenger seat.
The suspect then jumped in the driver’s seat, locked the doors and drove southbound on Aurora Ave N with the child in the backseat.
This was not a carjacking.
