Amazon Halves Quarantine Paid Leave – Files Record Profits
Amazon has reportedly begun its policy of slicing paid quarantine leave from 2 weeks to 7 days, as infections in America surge.
Meanwhile profits have hit record highs, with a would-be union leader accusing the tech giant of fudging in-house numbers to keep up profits ($3.2BN in Q3 last year).
The latest employee data was released way back in October, and showed that Amazon had 20,000 positive Covid cases among staff.
