Alleged armed robbery in Fairfield, Police Investigate

RawNews1st – Police are appealing for assistance as inquiries continue into an alleged armed robbery in Fairfield earlier this week.

About 7.45pm on Wednesday (12 October 2022), police were called to a service station on The Horsley Drive after reports a man had entered the store with a knife.

It’s alleged the man grabbed the 30-year-old attendant and threatened him, before fleeing with cigarettes.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

As inquiries into the incident continue, detectives have released images of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries.

He’s described as being of Caucasian appearance and was wearing a yellow hi-visibility hooded jumper, blue cargo pants, work boots, and was carrying a green shopping bag.
