Albany Police are continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred Saturday evening on the 200 block of Sheridan Avenue.
On Saturday, October 14, 2023 around 11:15 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Sheridan Avenue for reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 27-year-old man who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was treated on scene by emergency medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital where he is currently being treated for multiple gunshot wounds.

Preliminarily, it appears the shooting was not random and was in relation to an ongoing dispute among individuals who are known to each other.
