Albany Police Attempting To Identify Robbery Suspect
Albany detectives are attempting to identify the pictured suspect in reference to an attempted robbery that occurred Saturday night on Broadway.
On Saturday, June 25, 2022 around 9:45 p.m., officers responded to Sunoco, 795 Broadway for reports of an attempted robbery.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a pictured male suspect entered the store, approached the counter while armed with a handgun and demanded money from the register.
The suspect ultimately left the store without any proceeds.
Detectives believe the pictured suspect may also be responsible for several other commercial armed robberies that have occurred recently in the City of Albany.
