Cell phone owners in Alabama were alerted to a Blue Alert on Saturday and told to be aware of a “dangerous person” who is connected to an altercation with an Alabama State trooper late Friday.
According to the emergency alert, Randy Lee Wade is being sought for injuring the trooper.
The incident occurred at Alabama Highway 28 and Interstate 20/59 in Livingston sometime around 11:45 p.m. Officials said no shots were involved, and the incident was a physical altercation.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency asks anyone who has seen Wade to call 334-676-7550 or 911. ALEA officials said Wade “is believed to be a serious risk to the public.”
