Agents searched a grain hopper railcar and found over two dozen undocumented immigrants inside.
Record checks revealed that 22-year-old Franklin Galdamez-Galindo was a member of the MS-13 GANG.
Galdamez-Galindo will be prosecuted for his immigration violations and will be turned over to the U.S. Marshal Service.
This fiscal year alone, agents in the Laredo Sector have arrested 24 gang members attempting to illegally enter the United States. Of those arrested, eight were MS-13 gang members.

“This fiscal year alone, agents in the Laredo Sector have arrested 24 gang members attempting to illegally enter the United States. Of those arrested, eight were MS-13 gang members. Border security is national security. What happens on the border directly impacts public safety not only in border communities, but throughout our country as well,” Border Patrol said in a statement.
