Texas– Man takes off in ambulance, which leads to a man dying.
The Choctaw Nation has an active arrest warrant issued for Reid Jordan, from Soper, Oklahoma, for the death of Delbert Hedrick.
Investigators say on February 28th, 2021, just before midnight, paramedics were at the victim’s home, treating him for chest pains.
While paramedics were inside, a man jumped in the ambulance and drove away.
That meant the victim’s wife had to drive him to the hospital in Paris, TX and on the way, he became unresponsive.
His wife called 911 and police and fire did CPR until an ambulance could arrive.
The ambulance crew attempted additional life-saving measures until they arrived at the hospital in Paris but, the victim died.
Agents determined Jordan is the one who stole the ambulance.
He’s now facing a second degree murder and burglary charge.
