Police – Animal Enforcement Unit has seen a marked increase in injured dogs being dumped and abandoned along US 301 in the Ridge Manor area.
The injuries found on these dogs are consistent with dog fighting wounds. Fighting or Baiting animals is a 3rd Degree Felony under Fla. Statutes 828.122.
