Aaron Hernandez’s brother arrested for allegedly planning two school shootings.
“We’re taking lives if sh*t isn’t paid up. It’s been years in planning just taking notes, names and locations. They talked their way into this and it’s almost a point game.”
Police said there were concerns that Dennis ‘D.J.’ Hernandez had allegedly been planning two shootings at UConn and Brown University in Bristol, Connecticut. In new Bristol Police Department (BPD) documents obtained by TMZ Sports, the 37-year-old showed signs of being “gravely disabled and a danger to society” earlier this month.
The BPD reported several people came forward and claimed Hernandez had been acting out of character and had sent disturbing text messages. One allegedly read: “We’re taking lives if s*** isn’t paid up. It’s been years in planning just taking notes, names and locations.
They talked their way into this and it’s almost a point game.”
On July 19, police say they read threatening language on Hernandez’s social media page, such as “Will I kill? Absolutely, I’ve warned my enemies so pay up front.”
Reportedly, Hernandez was at a residence later that day when police showed up and tried to get him to exit the home, but he had told them that he was “on foot, armed and that if we approached him, he would kill us all.”
