Aaron Carter’s neighbors said they heard someone yell “he’s dead, he’s dead” when a staff member stopped responding to the former star in a bathtub at his California home.
Cater, 34, the brother of famed pop icon and Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, was found dead, suspected of a drug overdose by his friends, sources said. The American Sun.
A neighbor, a local photojournalist, told The US Sun that he heard on his police scanner that there was an unresponsive man in the bathtub.
His wife, a nurse, rushed with her AED [automated external defibrillator] with her and banged on the door.
“A woman opened the door and yelled ‘he’s dead, he’s dead,’ but she wouldn’t let us in because she’d already called the police,” he said.
Representatives of Carter’s family confirmed the death of the singer. His fiancée, Melanie Martin, asked for privacy while the family mourns.
