A woman working at a business in the Loop was stabbed after telling a trespasser that he needed to leave Saturday night.
According to police, the incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. in the parking garage on the first block of South Columbus Drive.
The woman approached a man in his forties and asked him to leave. According to police, the man then swung a sharp object, cutting the woman’s right hand.
The perpetrator then fled in an unknown direction. The victim had minor cuts and refused medical attention at the scene.
Nobody was arrested because the man escaped. Area Three detectives are looking into the matter.
