On Saturday night in Chicago, a woman was killed while attempting to teach a man how to drive.
The woman, 61, was found in a church parking lot on West Devon near North Greenview in Rogers Park around 7:15 p.m., according to Chicago police. The 61-year-old man was driving a Toyota Sienna. He hit her and dragged her after inadvertently pressing the accelerator instead of the brakes.
At the hospital, she was pronounced dead.
Another person who was in the backseat of the minivan with the door open was injured when he fell out.
The driver is being cited for driving without a license.
