RawNews1st – A woman is now in custody accused of robbery, conspiracy and kidnapping.
The affidavit for Alexandra Silva says she goes by a different name on social media and went to pick up a friend and take him to a casino on January 17th.
It says on the way, Silva said she had to stop at a home and pick up some money so they stopped and she went inside.
It says a man came outside with a gun and demanded money from the victim and made the victim remove his clothing.
It says the man was Silva’s husband, Estevan Yanez.
It says Silva drove the victim back to his apartment and she went inside and told the victim’s family he had been kidnapped and they needed to pay a ransom.
It says the family members threatened to get a gun and Silva took off with the victim still inside the vehicle.
It says the victim was eventually able to jump out and went to a random house and called 911.
It says police were familiar with Silva from past similar robberies.
The charges and warrant were filed in February and Yanez was taken into custody shortly afterward but Silva was taken into custody this week.
