WFSB – State police said they arrested 26-year-old Allana Polk on the strength of a warrant on Friday.
According to the warrant, a victim called 911 on Sept. 21 to talk about the kidnapping incident, which actually happened on July 25.
The kidnapping had been part of a domestic violence report.
In that case, state police said a second victim was kidnapped while the first victim was dragged by the suspect’s vehicle during an attempt to stop it.
The first victim suffered minor injuries.
The victim explained that they were granted sole custody of the second victim; however, Polk took the second victim to Puerto Rico to live with her new husband.
Investigators determined Polk violated state statutes. They charged her with second-degree kidnapping and first-degree custodial interference.
Polk was held on a $350,000 court set-bond and scheduled to face a judge in Rockville Superior Court.
