A teen was shot: Attempting robbery on CTA Red line train
The 18-year-old was on the train when a man approached him and demanded his things, police said. The shooting happened at the 95th Station on the South Side at about 10:02 p.m., police said.
The suspect then allegedly shot the victim in the chest and in the right flank, police said. The crime happened at about 10 p.m. on Saturday, Chicago police said.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.
