A teen is in critical condition following a drive-by shooting in Albany Park, and Chicago police are still searching for the perpetrator.
Due to gunfire, police were called to the 3800 block of W. Lawrence Avenue at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The 15-year-old victim was shot by a suspect who pulled up in a black car as he was strolling down an alley, according to the police.
The teenager’s left leg was struck. He is critically ill and was transported by ambulance to Illinois Masonic Hospital.
Police are still looking for the suspect even though no additional injuries have been reported.
The inquiry is still underway.
