Around 10:50 p.m., a stabbing occurred at a residence on Park Avenue in Foley, Alabama.
Upon arrival, police found a man suffering from a stab wound. The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
The victim was identified as 29-year-old James Ryan Vaughn.
The suspect was identified as Vaughn’s brother, 33-year-old Wesley Nathanael Nance.
“When officers arrived they discovered that Vaughn had been stabbed,” police say in a release.
“A witness on scene informed officers that Vaughns’s brother Nance stabbed Vaughn during an altercation between the two and fled the residence on foot just prior to police arriving.”
Nance was located nearby the residence and taken into custody. He was charged with manslaughter.
