A prisoner arrested for robbery escaped custody at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, prompting an active search.
A detainee captured for theft had the option to get away from Westchester Province Branch of Remedy guardianship early Sunday morning at St. Joseph’s Clinical Center, provoking a still-dynamic hunt.
Yonkers police say Geraldo Rojas was captured on Friday morning for a theft. A resulting examination attached him to two different burglaries prior in the month.
Before he could be brought to court, Yonkers police say he was brought to St. Joseph’s Clinic for a clinical assessment. He was summoned Saturday evening and remanded to the area prison, yet he was not restoratively delivered at this point.
Rojas was transferred to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Correction Saturday evening around 6 p.m. It was early Sunday morning when he managed to escape.
