On Wednesday, a man was stabbed to death at a Burger King in the suburbs.
Des Plaines police responded to a battery involving two men at 860 S. Elmhurst Rd. around 5:50 p.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered one man with multiple stab wounds.
According to police, the victim was taken to a nearby hospital and died as a result of his injuries.
The offender had fled the scene before officers arrived, according to police.
According to police, there is no danger to the public because this is an isolated incident.
