A man was shot in the South Shore neighborhood, police say
On Tuesday night, a man was shot in the South Shore neighborhood.
In the 7800 block of South Crandon Avenue, Chicago police responded to a call of a person shot and discovered an adult male with a gunshot wound to the thigh.
Around 10:30 p.m., the shooting occurred, and the victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition.
Officers were told by a witness that the victim was shot at by someone in a silver sedan.
There is no one detained. Area Two detectives are looking into it.
