On Friday night, a man was shot during an argument at a gas station on Chicago’s Far South Side.

An 18-year-old man was at a gas station in the 11500 block of South Halsted around 10:30 p.m. when he got into a verbal altercation with another man, according to police.

The man then pulled out a gun and shot the 18-year-old before fleeing in a dark-colored pickup truck.

The victim was shot in the leg and was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Nobody is being held. Area Two detectives are looking into it.
