On Tuesday night on the South Side of Chicago, a man was shot during a fight with two other people on a CTA train.
The 40-year-old got into a fight with two men at around 8 p.m. on a train car that was traveling north toward the 47th Street station, according to the police. After drawing a gun, one of the assailants shot him in the leg.
After being transported by paramedics to the University of Chicago Hospital, the victim’s condition was listed as fair.
While Area One detectives look into the matter, no one is being held.
