A man was killed by gunfire while driving in West Pullman, police say
A man was killed by gunfire while driving in West Pullman on Saturday morning.
At about 1:40 a.m., police responded to shots fired near 120th Street and Halsted Street and discovered a man bleeding in his vehicle. Officers arrived just as the victim, 40, had come to a halt in a parking lot.
He was shot three times in the left armpit and once in the right thigh and was taken to Christ Hospital in critical condition. Shortly after, the victim was pronounced dead.
There have been no arrests reported. Local cops are looking into it.
