A Federal judge has denied bond for Christian Harrison, who is charged with murder for shooting and killing a 13 yr old boy at Parkview Terrace in west Tulsa just before Christmas.
The affidavit says the victim’s older brother got into an argument with someone inside an apartment and on his way out, he kicked an A/C unit.
It says that caused Harrison to follow the victim’s brother outside and the two of them got into it.
It says the victim’s brother left and came back with the 13 year old victim and they spoke to Harrison, who pulled out a gun.
It says the victim’s brother asked Harrison if he was going to use a gun instead of fight and Harrison said yes and fired 7 times.
The victim was hit 2 or 3 times.
In addition to the victim’s brother identifying Harrison, it says 2 other witnesses did also.
Records show Harrison had juvenile cases for drugs, stolen vehicle and having a gun after being adjudicated.
May 2019: Harrison was charged as a youthful offender in Rogers County with 6 counts, including attempted burglary, having a stolen car, stolen property and endangering others while running from police.
He was sent to a juvenile center where he completed 4 of 5 levels of classes and went to counseling but, then picked up new charges, so prosecutors asked for him to be sent to adult prison.
December 2020: Harrison was charged in Tulsa County for having drugs with intent to distribute.
October 2020: he was charged in Tulsa County with having drugs with intent to distribute.
Both those cases were dismissed due to lack of jurisdiction.
The murder case was filed in federal court because Harrison is Native American.
