A man has been charged after guns, 15,000 rounds of ammunition and $140,000 cash were seized when search warrants were executed across Sydney’s south-west.

Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command commenced an investigation on Monday (8 December 2025), following reports firearms and ammunition were located inside a storage unit on Milperra Road, Revesby.

Police attended and established a crime scene.

A search warrant was subsequently executed at the storage unit, where police located and seized a ‘flashbang’ grenade, seven firearms, three gel blasters, 15,000 rounds of live ammunition, numerous loaded and unloaded magazines, seven ballistic vests, 16 electronic stun devices, handcuffs, firearms parts including silencers, tracking devices, multiple other weapons including knives, electronic devices, a security uniform and life-like silicone head masks.

Following inquiries, detectives – with assistance from officers attached to the Tactical Operations Unit, Robbery and Serious Crime Squad and Bankstown Region Enforcement Squad – arrested a 39-year-old man about 10.15am yesterday (Wednesday 10 December 2025), following a vehicle stop on The Avenue, Yagoona. He was taken to Bankstown Police Station.
