A male, wearing a mask, approached the bank teller and passed a note demanding cash.
The note advised that the suspect had a gun, but no weapon was displayed. The suspect left the bank after receiving cash.
The suspect, and the getaway driver, were found in the Peters Creek BP. Evidence was located — linking the suspects to the bank robbery.
Identities have not been released.
Winston-Salem police are looking for bank robbery suspects in the area of Peters Creek Parkway and Academy Street right now (5:20 p.m.)
The Wells Fargo bank on Country Club Road, near Jonestown Road, was robbed around 4 this afternoon.
