A driver ran a red light and killed a man riding a scooter in Logan Square on Sunday morning.
A 42-year-old man was riding a motorized scooter in the 3800 block of West Fullerton Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. when he was hit by a car, according to police.
According to police, the driver of a silver Honda Civic failed to stop at a red light and struck the victim in the intersection.
The victim was declared dead at the scene after the driver fled.
The Major Accidents unit is looking into it.
