RawNews1st – A drive-by shooting in the West Englewood neighborhood on Wednesday morning injured two men, one critically.
The men, aged 20 and 21, were outside around 3 a.m. when a red SUV drove by and began shooting in the 2000 block of West Marquette Avenue, according to police.
The 21-year-old was struck several times in the torso and was critically injured before being taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
The 20-year-old man was shot in the thigh and taken to the same hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
As Area Two detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
