RawNews1st – At approximately 8:02 P.M. the Rock Island Police Department received a call of shots fired.
Police say possibly occurring in the area of 12th Street and 21st Avenue, however responding officers were unable to locate a scene or any victims at that time.
At approximately 8:12 P.M. a 21-year old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder arrived at UnityPoint Trinity hospital.
The victim claimed the incident occurred in the area of 9th Street and 21st Avenue, but could not provide any further information.
No arrests have been made at this time and no other injuries or damaged property have been reported.
Adults left a little girl’s body lay in a bathtub for a month before she was found
The incident is being investigated by the Rock Island Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division; no further information is available at this time.
