Firearm and Drugs Seized in Ajax
A 21-year-old male faces numerous firearms charges after police seized a firearm in an Ajax park Tuesday evening.
Ar approximately 7 p.m., members of West Division responded to a call for shots fired at a park near Ainley Road and Turnerbury Avenue.
Police located a vehicle with three occupants. Further investigation led to officers seizing a loaded firearm and a small quantity of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
A 21-year-old male faces numerous charges.
A 21-year-old male, of Ajax faces seven charges which include: Possession of a Schedule I Substance x2 (fentanyl, methamphetamine); Carry Concealed Weapon; Occupy Motor Vehicle with Firearm; Possess Loaded Prohibited Firearm; Possess Restricted/Prohibited Firearm no Licence or Registration Certificate and Unlicensed Person Possess Prohibited Firearm.
He was held for a bail hearing.
