UPDATE on the shooting that occurred in the 4400 block of 20th Street NE, Tuscaloosa.

Deputies found one subject deceased, identified as Willie Haywood Jr, 53 years of age.

A 2 month old infant was also found that had been shot, and was still alive.

Lashana Henderson, age 25, the child’s mother, was detained. The infant was transported to Children’s Hospital and is in critical condition.

Henderson has been committed to jail with no bond on the Capital Murder charge, and a $60,000 bond for the Assault 1st charge.
