Virginia Beach Police are investigating a stabbing that took place at a Walgreens location Saturday afternoon.
Police say a stabbing occurred at the Walgreens, located at Indian River and Kempsville Road.
Two people were taken to a local hospital with injuries. One person was stabbed and left with life-threatening injuries another person was assaulted.
VBPD says a suspect has been detained for questioning. No other suspects are being sought.
