Seattle Police are asking for your help to find Zach Grayson. He is wanted for Unlawful Imprisonment- Domestic Violence, Animal Cruelty in the First Degree and Malicious Mischief in the Third Degree. Detectives say he cut off the head of her young child’s pet bearded dragon lizard named “My Friend” and finger painted “I love you” in blood on the table.
Police say the 24 year old went to the Rainier Beach home of a woman he had previously been in a relationship with. Detectives say Grayson held the woman in the home for three days, using physical force to keep her there.
She was eventually able to talk her way out of the home. When she returned a few hours later, her child screamed because his pet lizard’s head had been posed as if looking at them from a bowl of blood. The rest of the lizard was hanging by a rope from the ceiling by it’s tail.
Grayson is 6’3” and weighs 212 lbs.
He does not have a vehicle and no solid address. He uses friends for transportation. His criminal history includes convictions for Burglary 2nd Degree, Malicious Mischief 2nd Degree and Theft 1st Degree.
Detectives have been searching for Grayson, who may be in the Seattle or Federal Way areas. According to court documents, he has previous put a gun in the woman’s mouth and threatened her and also threatened to kill their child. If you see him, please call 911 immediately.
