The Atlantic aimed their sights at Facebook in an article last month and revealed some damning and shocking statistics about the social media giant. After Big Tech’s Black Monday, should these stats be more of a concern?

▪️2.9 billion active monthly users on FB this summer – more humans than India and China COMBINED
▪️CEO Mark Zuckerberg started calling users “people” who are citizens of Facebookland
▪️FB is developing its own money, a blockchain-based payment system known as Diem (formerly Libra) that financial regulators and banks fear could “decimate the dollar”
