Florida -The Crestview Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred shortly after 4:00 a.m this morning in the parking area of Bel Aire Terrace apartments in Crestview.
A female victim, who has been identified as 29 year old Angelica Le of Crestview was shot and killed by 29 year old Amos Edward Washington of DeFuniak Springs, during a domestic dispute in the parking area of the apartment complex.
Amos Washington then fled the area of the shooting, after taking two of the three children from the residence.
Approximately and hour later, he was arrested by the Santa Rosa County Sheriffs Office without incident and the two children were recovered unharmed.
The Crestview Police Department has arrested and charged Amos Edward Washington with Murder in the First Degree, Shooting A Deadly Weapon into a Vehicle, Violation of an Injunction Order and two counts of Aggravated Child Abuse.
Washington was delivered into the custody of the Okaloosa County Jail.
