CAUGHT ON CAMERA:
A homeowner is seen fighting off suspects trying to steal his truck early Thursday morning. The suspects were later arrested for allegedly shooting at two Bexar County Sheriff’s Deputies.
This was a scary but incredible moment for this homeowner who leapt into action to stop these men from stealing his truck.
The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. off Twinbear Creek near Highway 90 and Loop 1604.
“My reaction was to go stop them from stealing my truck,” he said. “Basically, he was telling the other guy to shoot me, shoot me, shoot him. Shoot him. I wasn’t aware of a gun at the time.
I just know someone broke into my house and they were about to take my truck, so the reaction I had was just to stop them.”
The homeowner said that after they struggled a bit more, the suspect got out of the truck and they both ran off. The fight was captured on his surveillance camera.
