Around 9:30 a.m., a trooper conducting Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) enforcement stopped a 2019 International Harvester tractor-trailer on LA 415, north of Interstate 10.
During the inspection, the trooper noticed a white plastic bag on the floorboard containing what appeared to be a large sum of cash.
With assistance from West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office deputies, a search uncovered approximately $1,147,638 in U.S. currency, 183 pounds of marijuana, and 7 grams of cocaine.
