A Tulsa woman has been charged with child abuse after investigators say her 14 year old daughter had looped marks all over her back, leg and hips and some had scabbed over from bleeding.
The affidavit for Heydy Fuentes says the girl had runaway and when police found her, she said the reason was because her mom repeatedly hit her with a cord, causing the marks.
It says the girl said she crouched on the floor next to the bed and screamed in pain.
It says the girl told police, her mother was throwing out the girl’s things and told the girl, she was a mistake.
It says siblings told police, they witnessed the mother hitting the girl so hard, the girl urinated on herself.
It says Fuentes confirmed she hit the girl really hard with the cord and the girl’s injuries were bad and said, she was mad the girl had been lying and sneaking out.
This is a charge, not a conviction.
