Microsoft – Terrael A. Alls, 29, of Columbus was sentenced to 25 years in prison on charges of sex trafficking and use of a facility of interstate commerce in aid of racketeering, according to an Aug. 28 news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of Ohio.
McClatchy News reached out to Alls’ attorney Aug. 30 for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Alls was arrested in March 2023 and pleaded guilty in February, officials said.
Authorities were tipped off about Alls, also known as “Ace” and “Rell,” in February 2022 by a woman who became suspicious after he approached her with a business card for a modeling agency while she was staying at a Red Roof Inn in Columbus, according to officials.
The business card was for a company called Elite Diamond Studios with phone numbers linked to Alls and online sex escort advertisements, officials said.
An investigation revealed Alls “recruited women under the guise of modeling for him as a photographer,” promising them they’d be “star players” in the agency, according to officials.
Instead, he served as their manager, using drugs and physical violence to control his victims and force them into prostitution or to create pornographic content, according to a criminal complaint.
One victim told investigators Alls tried to make $1,000 a day off of her and received all of the money she earned, adding that she didn’t get a day off in seven months, per the complaint.
Alls would request money from his victims using CashApp with threats such as “$100 or blood,” according to court records.
Investigators found “more than 42,000 sexually explicit images, videos and advertisements” on Alls’ laptop, including images and videos of his victims, officials said.
