Tulsa Police arrest a woman charged with rape, accused of having sex with a 16 year old boy who was under the supervision of the Tulsa Boys Home, while she worked there.
The probable cause affidavit for Ashley Cartwright says the boy got weekend passes and twice, met Cartwright at a Tulsa motel for sex.
It says he was under supervision of the Boys Home as part of his probation and she worked there as a supervisor.
It says he described how she created a fast relationship with him by bringing him candy, vapes and a phone, getting him out of trouble and going on walks with him.
It says the boy described the sex as consensual and detectives recovered numerous Instagram messages between the two, saying they missed each other, loved each other, etc.
It says she told the boy not to tell because she could lose her job and he would also be in trouble.
It says even after she was suspended from her job and later lost her job, she continued to message him and urged him to delete all their conversations so there would be no “evidence.”
It says in a message to a friend, Cartwright admitted having the inappropriate relationship and said she was the adult and it was on her and she would take what she gets.
