Tennessee – (Nashville) Our special initiative to combat car theft & related crimes is absolutely making Nashville safer. On Fri, officers tracked a stolen Chrysler containing 2 juveniles.
This investigation led to their arrests & the recovery of 11 guns, 4 of them stolen, ammo, window punches & more.
35 days of this special initiative, involving detectives from all 8 precincts & the Vehicle Crimes Unit, has resulted in 213 arrests & the recoveries of 133 stolen vehicles & 63 guns.
