A man is in the Washington County jail, after being charged in federal court with kidnapping, assault with a dangerous weapon and using a gun in a crime of violence.
The federal criminal complaint says Bartlesville Police were called to Jerico Reddell’s home on February 21st to check on his live-in girlfriend.
It says while officers were there, Reddell drove up in the woman’s truck and said he’d dropped her off at a gas station.
It says officers talked to her and a friend who had been staying with her the past few weeks.
It says both reported the day before, Reddell “lost it” and demanded the girlfriend’s phone and she tried to run, but he grabbed her and forced her back into the home and pointed guns at both of them and threatened to kill them if they tried to leave and held them for 12 hours.
It says the girlfriend told police it wasn’t the first time Reddell had held a gun to her head and both victims were afraid he might kill them for talking to police.
