Florida – Kylie Rocket, 22, of Orange Park, was making $13 an hour working at Chick-fil-A but it simply wasn’t cutting it.
She began looking for side hustles online and in 2019 she landed a small role in an adult film where she earned $1,000 for a day of work, the Daily Star reported.
She went back to work at the restaurant, but that’s when problems arose.Rocket had worked at the same location since she was 15 but was forced to quit after gossip spread about her porn gig.
“It was a nightmare for me, people would come up to me in the store and shout out my character’s name,” she recalled to the news outlet.
“My boss found out and the company lost trust in me,” she said of the restaurant chain, which is known for being grounded in Christian beliefs.
“I went from being their star training director who could wrap 24 sandwiches in four minutes to being a big joke,” Rocket said, adding she “felt depressed about the whole thing.”
But it appears it was all meant to be as it forced her to pursue a different career path.
Rocket began talking to models on social media, which eventually led to her working in the adult film industry.
With the support and encouragement of her twin sister, she quit the restaurant and gave her boss no notice.
“The only thing I kept from the chicken shop was my name badge,” she said.
Rocket moved to Miami, where she “felt famous” as she was always “in demand” as a model.
