Alert Lee has announced a tropical storm warning for Coastal Lee with storm surge watch remaining in effect.
A tropical storm warning means tropical storm-force winds are expected somewhere within this area within the next 36 hours.
Locations affected are Cape Coral, Captiva and Sanibel, according to the 11 a.m. notice.
